Slow Ladder

Grows the stake gently after a loss instead of doubling, so a long losing run is survivable.

How it works

  1. A doubling ladder repays a whole losing run on the first win, but stakes sixteen times the original after four losses.
  2. Four losses in a row is common, so that ladder spends much of its life near its ceiling.
  3. This one grows the stake by about seven per cent after each loss instead.
  4. Twenty losses in a row still leaves the stake under four times where it started.
  5. It recovers gradually over several wins rather than all at once, and sits through runs that end a faster ladder.
  • Stake grows about 7% per loss
  • Recovers over several wins
  • Wide loss streak limit
  • Loss cooldown
  • Two moving averages

Staking

This bot grows the stake by about seven per cent after a loss rather than doubling it, so it needs no martingale.
