MACD Cross Sniper
Takes the single tick where the MACD histogram changes sign, with a longer average agreeing.
- Contract
- Rise/Fall
- Default market
- Volatility 100 Index
- Pace
- Longer scans. It waits for the exact tick the histogram changes sign, with a longer average agreeing. That is one tick out of hundreds. Shorten the trend period to trade more often.
How it works
- The MACD histogram is the distance between a fast average and a slower signal line.
- It stays on one side of zero for long stretches at a time.
- The bot keeps the previous reading so it can spot the one tick where the sign flips.
- The state lasts hundreds of ticks; the change itself lasts one, which is what makes this rare.
- A longer moving average has to point the same way, because a flip inside a flat market reverses again almost immediately.
- Waits for a sign change
- Compares two ticks
- Longer average must agree
- Loss cooldown
- Martingale with cap
Staking
It ships with a 2.1x martingale, sized to win back a losing run of up to 3 trades inside its stop loss, with a max stake of 5. Untick Use martingale on its card to stake the same amount on every trade.
