Digit Differs on Volatility 10, 75 or 100: does the market matter?
3 menit baca
Run a Digit Differs bot on BinaryTick and the card's market list lets you move it to another index. Volatility 10, 75 and 100 are three of the most familiar choices, and the number in each name sounds as if it should change the trade. For Differs, it does not change the odds or the price, and that makes picking a market simpler than it looks.
What Differs is betting on
A Differs contract names one digit and wins if the last digit of the final tick is anything else. That is nine digits out of ten. Deriv reads that last digit at the index's own number of decimal places:
- Volatility 10 quotes to three decimals, such as 4937.457, so the last digit is the thousandths.
- Volatility 75 quotes to four decimals, such as 40786.9256.
- Volatility 100 quotes to two decimals, such as 616.59.
A quote of 616.60 on Volatility 100 ends in 0, even if a chart shows it as 616.6.
What the volatility number changes
The number describes how hard the price swings. Volatility 100 moves much further from tick to tick than Volatility 10. That matters for contracts that depend on distance, such as Higher / Lower or Touch / No Touch.
A Differs contract does not care how far the price moved, only which digit it landed on. On all three indices each of the ten digits turns up equally often, so Differs wins about nine times in ten wherever you run it.
The price agrees. We asked Deriv for a one tick Differs quote on Volatility 10, 75 and 100 on 11 October 2026, and the payout for the same stake was identical on all three. The same held for Matches, Over / Under and Even / Odd.
What does change: pace
All three standard indices publish a new tick every two seconds; we timed them. Each has a one second version, Volatility 10 (1s), 75 (1s) and 100 (1s), which publishes a tick every second and offers the same digit contracts at the same price. The one second versions all quote to two decimals, so their last digit is the hundredths, whatever the standard index uses.
On a one second index a one tick bot trades about twice as often. The odds per trade are the same, so the session simply plays out in half the time. Take profit, stop loss and max losses in a row are reached twice as fast, in both directions.
Picking a market for Digit Differs
Digit Differs ships on Volatility 75. Most of the other Differs bots ship on Volatility 10. Either is a sound choice. Pick by pace:
- A standard index, such as Volatility 10, 75 or 100, gives you a trade every couple of seconds. It is easier to watch and to follow in the Transactions tab while you learn the bot.
- A one second index turns trades over twice as fast. Use it once you know how the bot behaves and want a session to finish sooner.
To switch, open the card's market list, pick the index, and press Run bot. If you pick a market that does not offer the contract, the card says so under the list and keeps Run bot locked.
Run it now
Open Digit Differs, or any bot on the Matches / Differs page, and run it on your demo balance on the market it ships with. Then run the same bot on the one second version of that index and compare how quickly each session reaches its limits. For more on the families of indices, see synthetic indices explained.
