Deriv bots with $10: settings for a small account

4 মিনিটের পড়া

You can run any BinaryTick bot from a 10 USD balance. At their default settings most bots are sized for a balance of about 15 USD, so a 10 USD account needs two settings changed on the card before you press Run bot: untick Use martingale and set Stop loss to 9. This guide shows where the 15 USD comes from and how to size a session to the balance you have.

What a bot can use at its defaults

Most BinaryTick bots ship with the same numbers: a 1 USD stake, a 10 USD stop loss, a 10 USD take profit, a 2.1x martingale and a 5 USD max stake. The martingale ladder runs 1, 2.1, then 4.41 USD, and the max stake sends it back to 1 USD after that.

The stop loss is checked after each trade. A bot keeps trading while the session is less than 10 USD down, so a session sitting just under 10 USD down can still place one more trade. If that trade is the top of the ladder, 4.41 USD, the session can end about 14.41 USD down. That is why the defaults suit a balance of about 15 USD.

The general rule: the most a session can lose is the stop loss plus the largest stake the bot can place. The Higher / Lower bots, for example, ship with a 1.5x martingale and a 4 USD max stake, so their ladder tops out at 3.375 USD and a session can end about 13.38 USD down. The Higher / Lower guide walks through that ladder. A few bots with their own staking ship with a larger Max stake: 8 USD on Fibonacci Recovery and Paroli Streak, 20 USD on Grid Recovery Ladder and D'Alembert Ratchet, so at their defaults a session can end more than 15 USD down. Every card lists its staking and max stake under Settings, so check them before you run from a small balance.

Settings for a 10 USD balance

Two changes bring any martingale bot inside 10 USD at the 1 USD default Initial stake.

  1. Untick Use martingale. The stake stays at the initial stake on every trade, so the largest stake is 1 USD.
  2. Set Stop loss to 9. A session can still place one trade while it is just under 9 USD down, and that trade costs 1 USD, so the session ends less than 10 USD down. If you raise the Initial stake, lower the stop loss by the same amount.

Set Take profit to whatever you want to bank from a session. How many wins that takes depends on the contract: a 1 USD Even / Odd win adds 0.95 USD, a 1 USD Under 8 win adds 0.23 USD.

Bots with their own staking, such as Oscar's Grind or Fibonacci Recovery, have no Use martingale box. For those, lower the Max stake and set Stop loss so that the two together stay under your balance.

Smaller stakes

Every BinaryTick card accepts 0.35 USD as its lowest Initial stake, and Deriv sets the minimum for each contract. On 12 October 2026 Deriv refused a 0.34 USD Under 8 contract with "Please enter a stake amount that's at least 0.35".

A smaller stake makes each loss smaller, so the stop loss allows more of them before it ends the session. Max losses in a row still stops the bot after its set number of losses, whatever the stake. Each win also shrinks, a little more than the stake does: on 12 October 2026 Under 8 paid 0.41 USD on a 0.35 USD stake, a 0.06 USD profit, against 1.23 USD on 1 USD, a 0.23 USD profit.

If you want to keep martingale

Keep the rule in mind and size the two numbers together. Pick a Max stake and a Stop loss whose sum stays under your balance, and the ladder resets before it can take the session past it. The martingale guide shows how the ladder climbs and where Max stake sends it back, and stop loss and take profit covers how the session limits work together.

Start on the demo balance

Your Deriv account comes with a demo balance in virtual funds. Run your small-account settings there first, exactly as you plan to use them, and watch a few sessions end. The demo account guide walks through switching between demo and real, and the checklist before real money covers what to confirm before you switch.

Run one now

Pick a bot from the Bots page, untick Use martingale, set Stop loss to 9 and Take profit to 5, and press Run bot on your demo balance. Even / Odd Switcher is a good first choice: one rule, one tick per trade, and each 1 USD win adds 0.95 USD, so a 5 USD take profit is a handful of net wins away. The Even / Odd guide explains its rule.
