Deriv bots in Ghana: fund with MoMo and run free bots on BinaryTick

In Ghana, mobile money is how most people pay for everything, and it is how you can fund a Deriv account too. Open an account, top up with MoMo, and run a free bot on BinaryTick, all from your phone.

Step 1: Open your Deriv account through BinaryTick

Open BinaryTick and press Sign up. The account is created on Deriv's own page, and it comes with a demo balance from the start, so you can run bots before you deposit. If you already trade on Deriv, press Log in; you type your password only on Deriv's page.

Step 2: Top up with mobile money or a card

Deriv lists its payment methods on its payment methods page. These are the ones Ghanaians already use, with the limits Deriv listed on 11 October 2026, in USD:

MTN Mobile Money deposits and withdrawals are both listed as instant, from 5 USD. Deriv also lists Vodafone, with a deposit ceiling of 1,000 USD. If your wallet is Telecel Cash, formerly Vodafone Cash, check whether your cashier offers it. Where it is offered, Deriv P2P lets you buy and sell with other Deriv users in cedis, at a rate you agree.

Your Deriv cashier shows the methods your account can use, and Deriv can change its limits at any time, so check the cashier before you top up.

Step 3: Practise on the demo balance

Switch the account selector to demo, open the Bots tab, and press Run bot on any card. Demo trades run on the same live prices and contracts as real ones, so a session there shows you exactly how a bot behaves. The demo account guide has a short plan for your first hour.

Step 4: Set up your first real session

Most bots ship with an initial stake of 1 USD, a stop loss of 10 USD and a 2.1x martingale capped by a max stake of 5 USD. The stop loss is checked after each trade, and the martingale can put up to 4.41 USD on a single trade, so a session at the defaults needs a balance comfortably above the stop loss: about 15 USD. Starting with 10 USD? Untick Use martingale for a flat 1 USD stake and set the stop loss to 9, and the session ends before your balance runs short. The initial stake can go as low as 0.35 USD.

Three bots to start with:

• Under 8 wins on eight digits out of ten.
• Even / Odd Switcher buys Even until a trade loses, then Odd until that loses.
• Rise / Fall Momentum buys the direction of a three tick run.
